The control of the tournament is carried out by the panel of judges. The results of the matches are fixed and form the standings. The winners are determined based on the results of all stages of the competition.
November 26, 2025 in the CLUST Space smart shelter in the Scientific and Technical Library named after G. I. Denysenko (Ihor Sikorskyi KPI Library) was heldthe first Open veteran backgammon tournament "Warrior of Light"– an event for social integration and support of veterans, their interaction with each other and with the university community.
KPI named after Igor Sikorskyi currently actively implements the veteran policy, which is an important priority of the University's Development Strategy. Operates on the basis of the universityCenter for veteran development, the main goal of which is the reintegration of veterans into society by creating opportunities for training, social and psychological adaptation, professional development, and social and cultural programs. In particular, veterans have the opportunity not only to participate in events, but also to independently organize their own initiatives for veterans.
