From March 27 to 29, short and long backgammon tournaments were held in the city of Svitlovodsk at the "Wave" camp site, which gathered connoisseurs of this intellectual game from different parts of Ukraine.
The tournament was held under the auspices of the Ukrainian National Backgammon Federation and became a real holiday for all lovers of this ancient game.
Both regular players and new participants who joined the tournament community for the first time took part in the competition. Representatives of Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kremenchuk, Brovary and other cities visited Svitlovodsk.
It deserves special attention that the tournament was attended by players of international class, who have repeatedly won prizes at international tournaments. This added even more prestige to the competition, and the games became really intense and spectacular.
For several days there was an atmosphere of friendly rivalry, excitement and true love for backgammon. Tournaments gave the participants bright emotions, interesting games and new acquaintances. Each game became a separate story of struggle, strategy and skill.
The organizers are already preparing the next meeting of backgammon lovers. The next tournament is planned to be held from August 6 to 9 at the "Wave" camp in the city of Svitlovodsk.
